Lovely little footstool.
This little foot stool is lovely. The finish is a little lighter than the average walnut stain so that the grain of the wood shows clearly through. The style is plain and rustic, nothing fancy, just well made, sturdy and functional.
Since nothing seems to wake a kid up faster than having to make a flying leap to get into a too tall bed, we put it beside the bed. Time will tell if our superhero stays calm on the way to dreamland. So far, so good.
The stool is 15 x 10 inches and about 5 inches tall.
Update(2-11-13): I was asked in the comments about the size of this footstool. When I wrote my review in 2011, I just eyeballed the measurements because they were not listed on the product page. They are listed here twice now (with different numbers). I measured mine this morning. It is 14 x 9.5 x. 4.5 inches. I hope this helps.

Perfect height!
I needed a short bench to go with my rocking chair, and all I could find were benches that were way too high. This bench is perfect! The height is much better for alignment of the hips when sitting in a chair. In addition, I was so happy to buy something made in America and made very well. This is the only time I have ever reviewed an item I have bought online, but I felt this item was definitely worth it. I highly recommend this bench!
Great footstool!
I have a high bar stool and use this everytime I sit to do my Bible Study. Very well made. Very practical.
