Fits perfectly
I have this same encasement for my queen size mattress, and wanted to have that protection for my soon to arrive little one. I have the Simmons crib mattress, which is the standard crib size. I put this on the crib mattress, and it fits just a little loose, which is good because if it's too tight then eventually it would rip (this happened with an old encasement of another brand; it fit so snug on my queen mattress the zipper soon ripped). When I put the mattress in the crib with the encasement on (I have a DaVinci Kalani crib with changer) the material of the encasement does bunch up just a little bit, but I'm sure when I put a fitted sheet on it that will keep the mattress smooth. In keeping with ridiculous warnings, don't put your baby on top of just this encasement; it's too loose for that. I plan on putting a fitted sheet then pulling the edges down once the mattress is in the crib to ensure that the sheet is tight. If I have any issues when I put the sheets in (less than...
